This is a 6 hours PRIVATE tour with a PRIVATE tour guide. Only you and your group will be on the tour or in the vehicle – no other guests.
This tour will take you far outside the tourist areas of Puerto Vallarta and to a beautiful highland area filled with staggering vistas and traditional Mexican culture.
We drive through the breathtaking Sierra Madre with all its scenic views all the way to San Sebastian, the town that holds the history of all the neighboring communities together. You’ll see the traditional way of creating great tasting coffee at the local coffee plantation, the Chocolate Museum , Raicilla Factory and learn the history of San Sebastian at the Dona Conchita Museum and take a stroll through the main plaza, soaking up the atmosphere of this village.
We will stop at a local church and then visit the former silver mecca of Hacienda Jalisco, once a favorite hideaway of legendary Cinema director John Huston and his friends Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. A visit to San Sebastian feels so far away from Puerto Vallarta, a really nice break and a great way to visit!
